Feng Tianwei (Chinese: 冯天薇; pinyin: Féng Tiānwēi) (pronounced [fəŋ tian wei], fəng tien way) (born 31 August 1986) is a Singaporean table tennis player, ranked ninth in the world as a singles player as of August 2008. Born in China, she began training in Singapore in March 2007 and commenced her international career in competitive table tennis the following month. She became a Singapore citizen in January 2008. Feng represented Singapore for the first time in the Olympic Games at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. On 15 August, the Singapore team comprised of Feng and her teammates Li Jiawei and Wang Yuegu defeated South Korea 3–2 in the semifinals. The team lost to China in the final, but obtained the silver medal. This was Singapore's first Olympic medal in 48 years and its first as an independent nation.

Yesterday was Feng Tian Wei's first match in London Olympics 2012! We see our heroine pitting against Wu Jiaduo of Germany in an almost close match and the match proceeded with much anxiety as the winning scores alternate. FTW, being 6th in the world in table tennis, managed to beat her first opponent, who is 9th in ranking, with a final score of 4-2. This qualifies FTW for the quarterfinals ^^ Teammate Wang Yue Gu also managed to scraped past victory against Viktoria Pavlovich of Belarus with a score of 4-3, after a close match in which WYG turned the tables in the end ^^

Ah I realized I have this account in my own blogger account too!! Yes I remember i even wrote a poem last time for LGD not to leave LOL. Super excited for their matches hope they do well this Olympics! One day we should all dig our wristbands out and take a picture to set as our whatsapp icon instead!!

Oh gosh, time really has flown by. I remember how depressed we were after Beijing 2008 ended. And we still said it would take FOREVER before London Olympics in 2012. But well... here we are. Sadly, there isn't much time to spazz as we'd like to, with A levels coming and all, but I'm so glad we've all made the effort to remember this (and also continue using the FTW stuff!) LOL.

Well, we'll continue to cheer FTW on! NO MATTER WHAT BECAUSE SHE IS GONNA WINWINWINWINWIN <3 <3
